Review of Techtextil ’11: Versatile ultrasonic components
At this year’s Techtextil in Frankfurt am Main from 24. to 26. May 2011, SONOTRONIC presented itself as a developer and manufacturer of ultrasonic components and standard machines, widely used in the textile industry. The ultrasonic welding, cutting, cut & seal, as well as ultrasonic thermofixing, washing and laminating technologies, enticed a large number of national and international visitors to our stand. As a result of Texprocess, which was taking place at the same time, Techtextil exceeded all expectations and there was a lively exchange of information.
SONOTRONIC at Techtextil 2011
Our roller seam systems for the continuous processing of synthetic textiles aroused particular interest. Welding and cutting tests on samples brought by visitors convinced them on the spot of the efficiency of our ultrasonic components and of the quality of the weld seams and cutting edges obtained: minimum seam overlaps, flexible seam design and the prevention of fraying speak for themselves.
The ultrasonic technologies of SONOTRONIC are very environmentally friendly and energy efficient compared with thermal processes. Under the motto of GREEN SONICS, this is noticeable in all our processes in textile finishing. The necessary heat is generated directly in the textile material by ultrasound, so that no external heat has to be supplied.
As your machinery and component manufacturer, know-how provider and development partner, we look forward to welcoming you to the other trade fairs this year. We will be pleased to advise you at any time on matters of “ultrasound in textile processing”.
