As there is only a small amount of material in the machine during thermofixing, it is possible to process small quantities of material with the UST machine. The product and application-specific parameters can be called up at any time on the operator’s screen, so that the adapted stretching frames at the intake and exit can bring about optimum shrinkage or stretching. Several inline ultrasonic units generate the necessary heat for thermofixing and calandering inside the material without need for long pre-heating.
